But this is a good thing isn't it? The more watches that are around the more people are able to join in the celebration, at least thats my view.
This! Hoping we can all celebrate and enjoy!

Much better accuracy, it hacks, and much longer real-world power reserve of about 62 hours.
Thx for the détails. I would say 1861 improved/evolution

Houston OB sent e-mail notifying that they’re taking 7k usd deposit, and mentioning that they’re not sure either what the final MSRP will be or when the watch will be available.
OB e-mailed back to correct deposit amount to 5K, also replied to my question that they have not been allocated any 321 with a waiting list of 3.

Whats the difference between the 3861 and 1861, isn't it essentially the same? Even the power reserve is the same as well.

There's significant difference.
I'm not sure if very many parts are actually interchangeable but I think Archer may have covered off on this previously in a dedicated thread.

3861 black dial, same as 50th with Silver where the moonshine gold is.

Silver Snoopy at 9 subdial done the same as Buzz butt.

Same number as 50th LE

Similar caseback as 50th LE but something Snoopy, nothing that could have issues like last one
Have you confirmed the information or is just another speculation.

My OB emailed me late this afternoon about the new release. It wasn't really on my radar, but I'm still a little disappointed about not scoring the last version. So I guess I will give it some consideration. Same $5k refundable deposit that others in the US have mentioned.

Are the calls only coming from official Omega Boutiques? Does anyone know about the AD's?

Seems most, if not all, who got a call have been through boutiques

I'm passing on putting a deposit down on this one. At least for the Apollo 11 we knew price and edition size and there was an organized process for assuring you would get one (at least in the US). But this Snoopy watch is too nebulous with almost zero information on it regading number made, price and timetable for availability. And this deposit thing seems very ad hoc and uncoordinated with Omega management. I reckon there will be ample opportunity to pick one of these up down the road.

The deposit thing pretty much matches how they handled the Apollo 11 in the US from what I remember.

I figure this one has to look better than the A11, and plus the Snoopy award is a cool thing to acknowledge. That being said, I don't know if I would actually buy the watch, as I have a decent stock of very new Speedmaster variants and am more partial to adding some vintage ones.

I’d prefer not to see gold unless it’s white gold

its a no brainier for me to put down a deposit. In the UK we are only looking at 1.2% interest on easy access savings so £5,000 deposit for 6 months is actually only going to lose me £30 in interest.

He’s almost certainly speculating. Would be helpful if he said that though rather than stating it as factual. Would keep the thread tidier and help spectate the wheat from the chaff.

Of course it's all about spéculations, otherwise more people will know that kind of info.
I m almost certain nobody knows nothing about what's coming except a restricted group at Omega and maybe RJ...

Completely agree. I am not even convinced RJ knows anything yet.

Of course better to celebrate and enjoy as a speedmaster fan and avoid flippers

Why I won't put any deposit you mean?
Yes. Just interested really as I don’t think I’d hesitate as it’s easy to get the deposit back.
