Yeah I think you're right. My OB gave me a different strap and deployant (photos attached with #s). Mine I think is the regular length strap. The deployant I have is all brushed steel, not partially polished which I think the other part # is. Was easier to install when I inserted the new strap and bar toward the lug hole in the direction of the case long axis rather than going from the dial side or caseback approach (short axis of the watch). It is thicker for sure on the ends with the spring bar.
Very nice, love the deployment clasp! What watch is next to your Snoopy? It looks like it is a FOIS with updates?

Thanks for the info. Can you let me know the tool so I can order that? Love the GTR.

My OB gave me the tool kit for free. Yours probably will as well if you ask (I asked to buy one and they just gave it to me). It's very helpful in switching out straps! You can see it in my pics to the side.

I love the GTR, too. 😀 Maybe one day I can add an R35, but for now the R34 will do. 😀 I take it you're a Gundam fan...hopefully later this year when I'm in Japan I'll have time to go to the Gundam Factory in Yokohama when I'm near at the Nismo Omori factory.

Thanks! Yes, it's a modified FOIS. I created a thread about it years ago with more pics and info (the only thread I've ever made here on OF). It's got a nice patina treatment to the bezel, hands, and dial that I like a lot compared to new watches.

Your FOIS looks awesome! Congrats on your Snoopy! I love Skyline's, I was stationed in Japan in the early 80's and I was blown away by the cool stuff that they had there that we didn't get here. I hadn't seen Skyline's or DOHC Corolla's or Fairlady Z's before going there.

No rumors or updates in over a month?!

the rumor is that there won’t be another Snoopy in over a month.

Nice! Does the deployment clasp work with the standard Snoopy strap?

As in removing the tang buckle itself off the strap and putting in the deployant on that? I did not do that...not sure it would work. They look like the same width in my pics at least. The tang strap has the two fabric retaining loops that can't be removed. The one closest to the buckle is stitched into the strap and the other is too narrow to slide off on the end toward the watch case and would have to slide off the tang buckle end, but can't get to it as the the other is stitched down in its way.

I think it'll technically work, it just wont look right.
The deployant puts the extra bit of strap on the inside of the strap against the wrist, so there wont be anything to go through the keepers that you cant remove (as nismo said).

Also, you'll have the gap on the strap where the tang used to be.

No. The Omega deployant clasp uses a strap that is completely different than a tang buckle strap. You'll need a strap designed for use with an Omega style DP clasp.

I hope prices don’t climb in US until at least next year. While getting my 321 bracelet adjusted, my OB told me my Snoopy should be here before Christmas. Im counting down the days.

Hi just wondering why is the market price of snoopy falling. From 30,000 USD to 20,000 USD.

will it further fall/ stabilise or go up?

this snoopy like previous ones is not a limited edition !!!!
