I guess I’m a glass half full person. Yes that attitude has come back to bite me more than once in the past but I’ve got faith here.

·I finally got the "call" yesterday. I am in the Greater LA area, paid in full on day one. I do have to pay the difference of $450 due to price increased.

Looks like there was a 7/1/2023 price increase in the USA. When I received my Snoopy in March, 2023, I had to pay an additional $400 due to 1/1/2023 price increase.

No, prices shown in US do not include sales tax. Sales tax is added at check out. Sales tax varies from state to state.
I live in a state; Oregon that does not have a sales tax.

·Correction. Sales tax can vary from city to city, county to county, and city to county.

Correct me if I’m wrong but it’s usually charged from where you live not where you have it shipped.

I'm thankful that the tax in this nation is across the board, no state/county/parish/city/town/council taxes on stuff I buy.

·Or maybe they just operate a fair wait list. First come first served.
Also possible, but what I said would still have to be true in some sense. 15 months ago was April 2022, for someone to join the list at that point and get the watch, the waitlist must have been tiny at that dealership.

I'm in WA... I often purchase online and have shipped to my brother in Portland, OR, if it is a high ticket item. I have yet to pay sales tax on online purchases made this way.
