Thanks for your patients with this newb question.
The marketing you all commented on worked. I've not been in the market for a new watch (though I've always admired Omega), until I saw the recent campaigns on the Snoopy watch. It combines several loves as Peanuts is my one childhood allowance and growing up as a science kid in Florida I have a strong connection with NASA. As such, I find myself in the market for this watch.
My question is really around market condition, can I walk into any boutique or AD and get on a waiting list or do I have to have a prior purchase history? If numbers aren't limited I guess I would expect secondary prices to drop but perhaps this wrong. I don't mind paying secondary price but would rather pay retail if I can get on a list and just deal with the delay. Thanks in advance.
Waiting lists are long closed, you won't be getting one at retail from an AD or OB. You can call up some of them to see if they'll put you on a firm list, but I doubt you will have much luck. Secondary market is your choice at this point.

Hi there and welcome. I suspect you have a very limited chance of picking one of these up. They are not ‘limited’ by numbers but they are by production. Most go to those with history, or an early deposit in US cases. They aren’t going to produce that many of these.

the vast majority of watches are also going via OB’s with few being reported received via AD’s.

It’s a lovely watch, but I’m not sure it’s one I’d pay the premium for, but only you can decide that. Best thing to do is to visit a few OB’s and see if you can get yourself on a list IMO. Best of luck

edit - as per above, lists maybe closed but not sure if that’s the case everywhere.

OB’s list in US is closed for now, but maybe it will reopen, nobody knows.
The best thing is to go to a boutique and see what they say. ADs are receiving some allocations, if you are a very good client they might get you one Snoopy. Otherwise it’s about 20-25K premium… for now, It might go higher when they will discontinue the reference.
Good luck!

Finally got my Snoopy home, unpacked and on the wrist!

It has been an absolute dream of mine to own this watch so a massive thanks must go out to the team at my local OB at the Trafford Centre for making this happen for me.

I appreciate many are still waiting so I will keep my excitement controlled but as many have said, it's well worth the wait.

No need to control your excitement. While I'm still waiting I'm super happy for anyone that receives one and actually gets excited wearing it. What makes me angry is seeing them pop up on the secondary market. Enjoy your Snoopy and wear it in good health.

This, my friend, is the classiest post I’ve seen in ages. Thank you!

Latest news from my OB (UK):

“In the last year the Boutique has only had one Snoopy delivered and we are unable to see when we will be receiving anymore, and as such we are unable to give you a timescale as to when you will be receiving a Snoopy.”

“I can understand that this is frustrating but due to the exceptionally high demand for the model and the lower production numbers from OMEGA I am unable to give you any more information at this time.”

🙁

Seems an awfully low number to have had - production issues and all.

If they have only received one so far the proper word is UNdelivered.

My Boutique have only had 2 including mine. The numbers are very low, much lower than we were led to believe at launch.

I think they’ve had a lot more in the London boutiques….

Yes the corporate Omega owned London Boutiques have had most of the UK watches so far.
