Flag stores are getting preferential allocations.
Looks like I chose the wrong OB to put my name down on the waiting list back in September 2020 then?! 🤔

The 2 of us made the wrong call. But prices in the secondary market are dropping fast as such omega might decide to manufacture more to create sales as other model will suffer greatly from a stock market downturn.

Last I checked, BLRO GMT Masters and Apollo-Soyuz Speedmasters are still floating around $30k.

Between 2022 and early 2023 production rate is expected to be a bit higher. There are already more deliveries if you consider that AD are getting some allocations now.
The overall number will stay low anyway, so it’s difficult to imagine a substantial drop of the premium. There is a physiological flexion of the market going on at the moment, all the prices are dropping a bit, which is actually good.

I am on the list since I collected Apollo 11 50th anniversary there (July 2019). They told me I will be number 2 as number one is a guy who bought the previous Snoopy there as well (that is a fair). Yesterday they told me there was only one piece delivered since release in October 2020. I mean we are talking about the Omega Boutique in Prague, the biggest Omega retailer in our country, country of 10M people in European Union and they had one piece in a year and a half. Is that for real?

There could be only two explanations - the allocation from Biele is abnormal or the Boutique plays nasty game with customers. What do you think guys? Is there any chance to evaluate the information of pieces delivered to CZ? At least? I feel desperate, to be honest...

No, it's all smoke and mirrors IMHO. In the Netherlands we have a population of 17 mln, no OB's so no allocation yet which is a bit unreal if some countries may not get any Snoopy's at all.

Toronto is in the same boat. We have 9 or 10 Rolex ADs within a hour drive of downtown yet not a Omega boutique and hence zero Snoopy deliveries to any of the Omega ADs so far.

Sorry... not sure that I understand some of the above posts, are/will AD's be selling these now or in the future?

Actually i have another view on the problem, US and UK people that have made deposit at the real beginning even with no History are at the moment delivery ( 10 watches around Houston in April & May) UK also , just because the deposit as a legal « contract » , hence here in EU and specially Switzerland they are bothering collectors since years with the Rolex way of life , the last sentence was « you are not considered as A customer « well spending since dozens of years 20K a year ( 1 watch and 10 services a year) means nothing for the marketing dept in Omega HQ , local Omega staff is extremely bored about this situation also because they lost the control to who deliver the watch, when they arrive allocation is decided by the HQ, of course if you buy a Platinum Speedy the Snoopy will come with of course.

But no problem they will come a day , only legal things are floating US & UK and the rest waiting .

I posted a couple of weeks back as I had been very lucky and had received my Snoopy from my local boutique (Birmingham AD), I believe I was 2nd or 3rd on that list, I also know that Manchester have had at least two as my friend had his first and then I saw the post last week from someone else who collected from the Trafford Centre. I was also told at the time of collection that another boutique around the Leeds area should have been receiving one very soon. Now back in February 22 I went to London for the weekend and visited two of the official stores at Regent St and Old Bond St (which had one on show for me to view only)…both boutiques informed me that they had received around 23 qty each, and I think I recall them saying a third London boutique had also received around the 20 mark. The London boutiques told me they wouldn’t add anyone else to the list as they had enough people to create an 8 year waiting list at current production rates …..I don’t see why they would have given false information, but add the totals up and it come to around 70 qty to the UK. Hope that helps.

Thank you for info. It makes me even more desperate seeing UK got almost 100pcs delivered and there was one piece only delivered to the Czech Republic. I mean I understand that UK has stronger economy and is more important for the Omega, but 100 vs. 1. It’s a joke, folks…it must be a joke. As I said, I’m even more desperate but thank you for the info.

Omega better be careful, if they end up returning a majority of deposits from OBs and ADs there will be A LOT of upset customers.

I for one if I get my deposit returned after 2 or 3 years, I will never buy another Omega again. If they returned my deposit after a year, I could live with that but I'm approaching 2 years now and keep getting told I'm getting the watch from my AD.

Rolex plays games.....pretend to take names... never deliver but they NEVER keep someones money for 2 years then return it.
Rolex owns no ADs. They don't take any names or play games. Each Rolex AD is independently owned and operated and there are no set of rules from corporate on how they sell their watches. Just clearing that up for you. I hope you get your Snoopy that you PIF for.

A bit off-topic from my side but I must share it - my friend called the Rolex AD and wanted to be listed as a potential customer for the new Explorer II. The response was just worth every penny he paid for the phone call: “We will let you know in next 12 months if we put your name on the waiting list” 😁😁😁 I mean they started waiting lists for the customers who wants to be on the actual waiting list. That’s just ridiculous 😀

I got mine today! So excited and humbled to be able to have something like this. I had my doubts at times, but it all worked itself out.
