Houston OB said they’ve received the last of their Snoopy allocation.
Any idea how many were actually delivered, and are there people with paid deposits still on their waiting list?

Supposedly around 70 and supposedly all deposits were delivered.
Does that mean this is it?
No more Snoopys there?

My OB told me that there is no way that people with no history could get allocated one … which is to me quite normal.

I believe so unless some whale comes in and splashed serious cash there.

So only 18 months.
I expected to be delivered until 2025.

Maybe Omega will reopen the lists for a limited period of time when almost all the watches have been delivered…
But it’s a big maybe.

I'm another one of the 100+ with deposit at Yorkdale.

I went to the AD at the beginning of March and asked the gentleman who came to the door, and he replied in an irritated tone (while turning around to walk away) "We are awaiting on Omega to update us and will send official e-mail communication to everyone after that." A month later, I still haven't received any e-mail.

I have no prior purchase history there, so I wonder if you received a more optimistic response because you are a VIP.

In any case, $400000 interest free loan for the store for the past 1.5 years. Good for them.

I didn't get any emails from the ad. I spoke to them early April. And they told me my orders r 100% guaranteed by omega. Only 321 orders r cancelled .
If they cancelled my orders and return the deposit to me. I wonder who made money off all the deposit. Ad or omega lol

in my case they didn't even take a deposit because the add does not know when he gets the watch...

I'm guessing since Houston only has 1 OB and 1 AD that the OB is done but the AD will get some now. The OB did mention awhile ago that OB's would get first delivery. Who knows what's going to happen now.

Are you sure about the number?
70 seems a bit high.

Sorry you’re right. About 70 was the initial amount of deposits taken and then around half were returned. So in total maybe 30-40 watches delivered to Houston.

Yep, that range is in line with estimates I got from other OBs. Thanks for sharing!

Understand your point if a normal Rolex owner waits a lifetime for a Daytona, what is to wait for a Speedmaster for 3 years. Less money spent to get what you want. The wait game continues. Maybe swatch will call me for a Uranus watch first 🍿

I'm still in shock... but I got the call yesterday and picked up today. I kept asking them how they determined I would get one and they explained that happened at the Omega corp level. I had placed the deposit the first week it was announced, was around the 30-something person with a deposit. Either way... I am so impressed and in awe. It's even better in person. To those still waiting- have faith! I thought I wouldn't get the chance for 4+ years.... miracles are possible!

FANTASTIC! I'm in shock for you! I remember when you joined the forum (back when we were both much younger.) Surprised that Omega actually came through.

Very happy for you. Thanks for sharing and enjoy!

Wow. (Kindof wish I kept my name on the list.)
Good on you.
