My AD in Toronto said the exact same thing, just curious if that's where your from as well?

The AD has 100 deposits on Snoopys and is still saying Omega is guaranteeing them all.....yet they still haven't even received 1 Snoopy yet. Something defiantly shady is going on and not buying that they'll get 100 units in the end.

Yorkdale.

Lol Ive purchased over 10 watches from them in the past 2 years. Better not pull tricks on me. Else I'm out.

My AD here in Canada gave us (first 10 on the list, with deposits) the very same pitch after speaking with Omega in March. They're one of the top 3 Omega dealers in Canada by sales and they have yet to receive a watch.

Who knows, but I'm not sure that guarantee is worth much at this point. Maybe.

It's really up to omega. If u live in Canada but not in Vancouver, ad is the only option. If omega decided to not allocate any snoopy to ads after 2 years, they might as well exit the Canadian market. They don't value their customers lol.

This is very interesting, as it shows the different approaches ADs had with customers.
My AD associate told me to get in contact with an Omega Boutique if I wanted to be sure 100% to get a Snoopy. He told me that the boutiques would have had a preferential allocation and he was concerned about disappointing his customers if he took the risk and then failed to deliver.
He was very honest with his assessment.
They knew the situation and he gave me the right suggestion.
I’m wondering why other ADs didn’t follow the same sincere approach, especially with historical customers.
Very puzzling.

Heard they will be making them well into 2024.

(From someone in Omega a fair way up the chain)

Well damn this gives me some hope. Thanks!

On another note, anyone have any idea how many have been produced so far? It feels like less than 1000 units but I know watch forums are only a small fraction of the total market.

I'd guess they've made plenty more. Over 3000 at least.

Above 1000 for sure.
In the long run (2024) the estimate was around 7000.
But reality is that we will never know… and that’s actually a good thing.

Currently on C24 there are 31 Snoopy 50th Anniversary pieces listed vs, 24 A11 50th Anniversary pieces and there are 6,969 of those. Not like for like but I suspect there will be a similar number eventually so 7,000 is a good estimate.

all this tells me is there are way way too many being sold to flippers.
get Snoopys in the hands of people that actually want them, not the hands of flippers

Omega got one sale right by selling to me. I haven't sold mine and don't plan on it unless I'm in serious catastrophic financial difficulties.

I think 30 is a pretty small amount worldwide really.

Canada is a fairly large country with only 1 OB on the west coast. I imagine they will start ramping up deposit orders from the AD's, but likely after OB orders are filled. The OB here is apparently just about halfway through the original deposit list.

For a watch that, unlike comparisons, is trading at such a premium.

Harder to keep a watch when you can double significant money.

Finally got the call after putting down a deposit in Sep 2020 at an OB. For what it's worth, my timeline got pushed back once from 2021 to 2022 (I think around when Omega changed how they were allocating) but after that it was "on schedule."

It's also interesting going back in this thread and seeing all the speculation around production, scalpers, and price... some takes aged really poorly haha. That said as someone with no intention of flipping, secondary market prices are ridiculous and I really hope they start going down as production picks up.

That was similar to me. I put my deposit down in Sept 202 and was initially told Q4 2020 then Q1 2021. Once Omega HQ took over allocation I was told Q4 2021 which turned out to be accurate.

Spoke to my ad today. They said snoopy orders r all guaranteed if you put a deposit down in the first few days.

They sent their orders to Omega and Omega told them these orders will be fulfilled. Question is when. I even have an email from the director of my ad stating it will be filled.

If omega break that promise, I think they will be doing a lot of damage to their brand.

Cancelling an order 2 weeks after is fine. But 2 years, that's unexpectable!

I'm another one of the 100+ with deposit at Yorkdale.

I went to the AD at the beginning of March and asked the gentleman who came to the door, and he replied in an irritated tone (while turning around to walk away) "We are awaiting on Omega to update us and will send official e-mail communication to everyone after that." A month later, I still haven't received any e-mail.

I have no prior purchase history there, so I wonder if you received a more optimistic response because you are a VIP.

In any case, $400000 interest free loan for the store for the past 1.5 years. Good for them.

Houston OB said they’ve received the last of their Snoopy allocation.
