Well, they came through.

For those angry about the profile, my OB manager explained that it is for people with zero or little history with the brand.

For everyone still waiting it’s worth the wait.
Enjoy

Well, whatever Omega and its retailers are doing with the Snoopy, they seem to be working from a position of strength. Recent Guardian article about a luxury watch sales surge -- Cartier, Rolex and Omega singled out:

The UK’s biggest seller of Rolex and Omega watches said sales had surged as Britons splashed lockdown savings on luxury watches and jewellery, including wedding and engagement rings.

Watches of Switzerland’s UK sales rose 43% compared with the pre-pandemic levels in the 13 weeks to 1 August, as the company bounced back from the coronavirus lockdowns.

How cool?!?

Indeed the movement part of this is very straightforward.

The animation is pretty simple and straightforward, probably more difficult to make the case back.

Thanks…. I really love the new bracelet. I didn’t really want to wear the strap yet in this 100 degree weather. I may put it on the strap at some point but honestly, I feel like the bracelet really finishes it off.

It really is a special and spectacular piece. Holds up well in my collection, oddly compliments my AP blue panda RO.

I’d have a hard time choosing a favorite between snoopy and the 321. They’re both so good!

I keep forgetting some places actually get hot! It looks great. I think I’d do the same with the bracelet. the more I see real life photos the more I like it. Congrats again!

Well, there goes my chance of getting a snoopy...

Just got a call from my AD, after patiently waiting since placing my deposit last October they informed me that they are no longer an Omega authorised dealership and as such are now returning my deposit.

Absolutely gutted is an understatement, I'll have zero chance of joining a list elsewhere this late in the game... 🤬
I'm really sorry to hear that Capt. Someone mentioned here earlier that Omega may be producing these for a lot longer than most people expect, maybe you might still have a shot in the long run. Not sure if its wishful thinking but I wonder if grey prices can come down due to more and more pieces coming into the market.

Got the call today!! Love love this new speedy. It looks amazing in person. That silver dial just pops! Wore my A11 50th to celebrate the occasion. Also decided to swap out the blue strap for the new steel bracelet - it’s really a sharp combo. Hope everyone that are on the list get their call soon!

What a stunning pair of watches (and really dig the strap changes implemented on both)!!! 50th FTW!! 😉

Many thanks @Pipes McGee, a quick update...

I've been running around in the background, numerous phone calls to OBs throughout London and emails to Omega explaining my situation.

I had given up as the OBs were saying their lists were effectively closed or their waitlist was >5 years, in effect the same, I also hadn't heard anything back from Omega.

Low and behold I received a response on Friday and Omega have added me to a waiting list with another AD. They can't confirm when I will receive my watch but I'm still in with a chance in getting one - thankyou for your efforts Omega 🥰

I now need to reach out to the AD as my grail is a modern trio of Speedies.

Im curious if anyone here prefers the Snoopy 2 over the Snoopy 3. I've watched quite a few comparison videos on YouTube now and the vast majority of apparent comments seem to prefer the 2 over the 3. Personally I prefer the 50th anniversary, the caseback is something really special in my opinion.

I have to say it's quite remarkable that the Snoopy 2 was (IIRC) near 12k usd on the greymarket as recent as 2017, didn't seem to get nearly as much love as everyone seems to give it now

Haven't seen the Snoopy 3 in person yet, but blue is my favorite color for watches and I'm not a fan of black/white for anything as it's a lack of color for me. I will prefer the 3 to the 2 for that reason alone regardless of caseback.
