·I’m on the list at OB for two years now (since A11 50th delivery) and still with no info whatsoever except that I’m number two on the list… Man, I’m really loosing my hope I get one from OB for a retail price one day.
Please consider donating to help offset our high running costs.
I’m approaching the 1 year mark since the initial deposit, and I have to say I got a bit Snoopy fatigued. I’ll keep waiting, especially after I’ve seen the watch with the steel bracelet, it’s objectively amazing. But almost 1 year having payed full price… it’s a lot.
The thing is that I don’t think OB, director and associate have much power in deciding about allocation. There are clients with stronger history/relation than me, so the only way is to exercise patience.
I know there’s no chance but I’d love to see the stats how many Snoopies were delivered to which country. There are countries with 1 or even zero delivered watches (I’m not talking about Yemen or similar countries but about EU countries). Wonder what is the strategy in deliveries.
It appears on this thread (no real data) that GB is getting alot of the allocations.. so maybe the strategy is to petition your country to leave the EU too 😉

My country already fought a war about 250 years ago to not be part of the Commonwealth.
Omega just wanted our full deposits $ 😀
It feels like paying for the ticket concert way in advance to reserve the spot, but then all the walk-ins enter before you, and you even risk of missing the show.
I don’t think the metallization of the moon on the case back nor the laser engraved silver dial are particularly easy to do. The watch also has a ceramic blue bezel that requires a special process to get the blue colour and it has seven layers of enamel. The bezel is closer to an Ed White 321 than the aluminum on standard moonwatch. This watch has way more detail than a standard moonwatch. That being said, I think they could probably make more of them. This is obviously a halo piece for Omega and they want it to be hard to get, it wouldn’t have the same hype if you could just walk in and buy one. They have to find the balance of keeping it somewhat exclusive vs. upsetting too many customers.
in all seriousness, many of those things you think make it hard to make were the same for the Apollo 11 and they knocked 7000 of them out pretty quickly.
Yes, but those were all all knocked out before a global pandemic made a mess of supply chains.
History is forgotten all too soon - it was the case back of the last Silver Snoopy that caused all the delays getting those made, and I suspect it's the same thing here that the external components are the delay.[/QUOTE
that’s fair enough. But per my post above, production of a ceramic bezel should not be a blocker to this watch. The sending of it - well maybe. But many supply chains are back to normal now so let’s see.
