Have a question for everyone. I placed a deposit before the announcement at my OB of $5k, and they have never asked me about the rest. It seems like everyone here has had to place the full deposit. Is there anyone else like me that has only placed the initial $5k? I don't want to ask the OB and have another $5k locked in for an unknown amount of time if I don't have to.

I made a $7k deposit back in June. I know others who made a full deposit. I think it’s dependent on your OB. I’ve checked with mine and have been told that no other payment is necessary until the watch arrives.

I need to share my desperation here with you. As you can see from my nickname, I live in the Czech Republic. I’m on the list for the new Snoopy since I picked up A11 50th in July 2019. I have been chasing OB sales representative few weeks back to find out what is going on with new Snoopy as I see so many pieces to be delivered all around the world and I’m still waiting for the phone call. As all the info I was getting from OB was not quite satisfying, I decided to contact Omega through their website. I had call from OB next day with much anticipated information which is - there was only one single piece delivered to our country and this single piece was delivered to owner of OB chain in our country as agreed with Omega HQ and there was no single piece delivered to customers. Yet. I mean this is driving me crazy, seeing so many pieces to be flipped and getting the info that only one watch was delivered to the Czech Republic. Grrrrrr.

I gave $5k deposit before it was officially announced and took delivery recently

Congrats! May I ask what country are you in?

Sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience. You would really need to manage your OB well and do check with them what is your queue status, how many people infront of you. Could you also advise roughly how many watches have you purchased from your OB previously?

The post is not about me personally, it is most of all about the allocation our country got from Omega - 1 watch in 9 months...I have to say I could not believe that. I mean CZ is not the biggest country but still, 1 watch in 9 months and even not for the end-customer but for the owner of OB chain...I really do not understand how they distribute watches to different countries. There were dozens delivered to UK. Compare it to 1 watch for CZ. Of course I know UK is bigger and economically stronger than CZ but still... That is why I feel so desperately.

As far as I know I should be number 2 on the list so I believe I got the new Snoopy. One day. Maybe 😀

Part of the problem here is the change in policy as to allocating limited pieces due to how many watches have been purchased from an OB.

For a lot of us, we’ve purchased from ADs previously due to existing relationship or lack of local OB. To my knowledge, Omega only recently began awarding limited editions to OB only purchases. I was also told this weekend, from an OB manager, that they don’t even compile from multiple OBs, just the OB you placed the Snoopy order from (some of us move due to work). This makes this system even more arbitrary.

You would think that a company as sophisticated and as customer focused as Omega would have a system to register any of their new watches to the original owner.

On the other hand, not having the Snoopy yet compelled me to get another Omega a few weeks ago. Maybe this is part of their secret strategy! Ha!

I’m being patient. This piece is worth waiting for and, with a few exceptions (Snoopy and 321), Omega does a great job with availability especially compared with Rolex.

Wonder how many were delivered on the 3rd of April or 4th of March 2021…. 😗

Let’s have HQ decide who should get an allocation. I’m sure they will get it to real collectors…

Crown and Caliber has a Snoopy listed at $48,450 with box but no papers. What a bargain lol.

Paul Thorpe and Spencer Dryer mentioned how some people are getting calls from Omega and having their Snoopy orders canceled. Has anyone heard of this? I wonder if it's from OB's

Video linked below:
They mention it at about 4:30.

I’ve asked the Omega associate and he told me it would never ever happen to US customers with full deposits… but who knows!
