From an information stand point, things are not much better here in Asia.

Went to the OB in Singapore over the weekend, was told that they "do not have any information on the shipment date etc."

People can understand Covid-19 problems but still, I would expect some kind of communication from Omega.

Especially since they had said end of October, which has come and gone, at this point there should be some communication. What I don’t understand is why they bothered to say end of October in the first place. Would have been much easier to say, here is the watch, we will sell you one if you want one, not sure when we can deliver. More transparent, always better.

We all are waiting for any news and some are deciding to move on, due to no news. If you are investing money, then there is a loss opportunity with your $10k, but a gain opportunity to own the watch. Everything is relative to their personal perception. For me, I will hold and wait to see the piece then decide. Would definitely like to put the money to work, but that was my personal decision. Good luck to all. This is the way...

New hands-on review from Time and Tide. Not much in the way of new info or opinion but some nice detail in the pix.

https://www.timeandwatches.com/2020/11/hands-on-review-omega-speedmaster.html

Different from any other Speedmaster models and executed with absolute care for details, the Omega Speedmaster “Silver Snoopy Award” 50th Anniversary ref. 310.32.42.50.02.001 will certainly gratify the playful side (and we all have it) of watch collectors and enthusiasts.

Surprised to see there is already grumbles about no deliveries. I was told sometime in first q1 of 2021. I personally don’t think this is a long or unrealistic wait, and maybe if no word by summer 2021 I’ll get antsy.

Bumping this because I am starting to go a little bit crazeee😡 with the lack of progress in getting these out to folks that have paid a deposit.

I have a 20% deposit down with a UK AD and the silence is deafening!

Does anyone have a snippet....anything....anything at all.....

We are all blindly heading forward, no news from OB on Monday when I called to check. For reference US.

I recently visited my local OB where I have a deposit for the Snoopy timepiece. All they could say is that so far none of them have been delivered to any of the US OB's. Some have made it out to OB's in UK and Japan. Also, Happy Thanksgiving to my US peeps. 😀

Anytime Omega delivers in less than a year from the time of order I am pleasantly surprised. Be careful ordering from them if you can't wait a year. Even if you had to pay 100% upon ordering.

Everyone needs to relax. Omega can sometimes get their act together and have an orderly delivery, like the Apollo 11; announced in March 2019 where deposits and waiting lists were opened, unveiled in May, and delivery started on July 1, 2019 in time for the 50th anniversary and proceeded smoothly. And there are plenty of examples where they struggled to get pieces out to the new owners. Throw in Covid and general business interruptions in 2020 and I'd expect to have the latter version of Omega delivery be the norm. Patience is the key here.

I'm not expecting to receive a call from my AD until the latter part of Q1 next year here in the UK.

I know if there is an update or delay I'll be informed... patience, it will make it more special on delivery.
