Ireland, Weirs & Sons took my details but won't take a deposit until they know how many they will be allocated. Any other Irish have better luck than me?

Also, I can't believe I am immersing myself in the hype. Again. It's 10k God damn it. Just last week I told myself, "That's it, I'm out".
I look at it this way: when you resell -whatever your needs or reasons, it wont be less than what you paid (hugely unlikely). essentially you wear for free.
there is no loss in reality. How i know: take a good look at most speedies (LE albeit this is not)

Whilst I agree with this in principle, in reality the watch has to appreciate by inflation for it to be free 😉

The way I am justifying it is it will only cost me 6.6k. I made 3k on this JLC I few weeks ago. I don't expect this buy to be as shrewd as that one, but it might be my first safe queen nevertheless.

I’m definitely going to wear this one since I can’t wear my 45th ann. any more.

My wife and daughter know I’ve been after a new watch with me contacting the OB and department store. I showed them the Snoopy 50 tonight and they were like “snoopy? Really, do you need this?” My wife kind of got it but she said it was really aimed at Omega fans which she said I was not. Then I showed them the 30 sec NTTD Seamaster vid and reckoned that was so much cooler. Lol. Still love the Snoopy but they kind of took the wind out of my sails. And yep, they wheedled the price out of me too

I really like the NTTD also, but nice as it is, it's closer to the black SMP 300 Diver I already own than the Snoopy is to my Speedy. No doubt it's a gorgeous watch, and a fresh take on the SMP 300 platform, but for me the Snoopy just brings more to the table and the price gap in Canada is small enough to make the stretch worthwhile, for me anyway.

Today i spoke with an AD for another watch and i asked him if he will receive any Snoopy by Omega, since i bought my Speedy from there.
He informed me that Omega is going to provide the ADs some pieces for sure, but not the first 2-3 months of the first release...

Unfortunately my pocket can't stand this purchase at the moment, but i was wondering if finally the watch will be sold by ADs and if yes...is there any chance for any discount?

😀

Mine is ordered and confirmed from an AD. Don't see the likelihood of discounts but I'm getting a NATO thrown in.

I think this one would be a perfect match (if you really want to cover this beautiful caseback with a NATO strap): omega-nato-strap-031cwz007885w-slider.png

I sold my first Snoopy 45 here in this forum, but now I have another one again, I have changed it to my brother, now I enjoy the 45 again and the meteorite, I have ordered in my AD the 50th anniversary, with these three Moonwatch already I will be served.

Nice. Which meteorite is that?

UK, it's £7,880... after the recent 6% increase.... some of those suggested adverts on C24 may have been created prior to the increase. The overall trend on C24 doesn't display a massive drop in values and the film has been bumped twice which I suspect may perk interest again.
Is no limited production......

What inflation? - fed

And does that mean in the EU you get PAID to wear the watch? Sign me up!

Love the watch. I think Omega nailed it.

After not even a week, I think I'd rather have this for the same price:

When you start talking 10k, there are options.

Awesome review!

That guys outfit really fits well with the watch, and I think that outlines the big issue for me in regards to versatility.

Like the jacket he's wearing, it's a great looking piece, but would likely sit in my closet and maybe get used once or a few times a year. Just a bit too jazzy for most social situations. Meant for the summer weekends.

If you're into horse racing, yacht clubs, or if you're a hamptons real estate agent, this could compliment your look very well.
