I recently picked up this Aquadive 200 ref. 1941, circa 1971, for my wife....powered by an ETA 2671.
Just got a blue one for myself recently too! Original bracelet was present but much too small. IMG_20211022_091628293_MP.jpg

Used to be obscure, not so much now due to its vague Longines Nautilus lookalike. Oh boy, I missed the pre internet/ social media watch hunting season

This is my favorite thread, so I’ll add a couple. I try to keep my purchases at $500 or below. I buy what I like, not what the internet tells me to. Some run slow, some fast, and some in between 👍

Id like to add a Ardath Denis to my collection or perhaps another Venus.

Truth be told, I bought it (locally) because it was so cheap. The color has definitely grown on me and it’s now one of my favorites. Currently running a svelte +2 min per day. I think she got a little too close to something magnetized. Gotta fix that!

I think you found the source inspiration for the Glashutte Original SeaQ:

I want to add for the record:

Why is it that some company makes a diver with a screw down crown, black bezel and round incides and they are automatically copying Rolex. But a company like Glashutte makes a total rip-off of an incredibly common mass produced 60’s diver that had 30 different brands on the dial and they get the golf clap for their inspired retro design??

to be fair, Glashutte has had this maxi-numeral design in their heritage for a long time, likely adopted from Airain, who I think may have started that design…it’s certainly of French origin

Not particularly obscure but I loved this Radiant's gloss black dial and shark tooth indices. Had the hands relumed though coz orig radium had disintegrated.

Im very fond of these dials. Yours look really nice. Looking for the Venus branded version that they made.

Here is a very rare Yema Superman 550016 with gloss black dial. This was a transitional model between the watch with the same reference that had applied markers and the 530016 that ran through the late 70’s through the 80’s.
