I guess you can call this Obscure to me that means under the radar stuff and sort of unknown not the stuff every buddy else has. I been collecting vintage watches for over 20 years or more and I did not learn about these until this year when I saw a Wyler life guard for sell on a forum sells section thought it looked like a rolex explorer. I passed but it made me search out Wylers vintage divers and I picked this one up off eBay just back from getting it service were I had the crystal replaced they are well built. And a bang for the buck. I thought the bezel ring mite of been glued on but my watchmaker got it unstuck so now the bezel ring works perfect.

Nothing to see here, nobody likes Wyler, they are crap- keep moving folks 😗

Not sure if this one already passed by, but I’m currently having this Ardath Reefguard Denis Diver serviced, after which it will be going away for a decent relume.

I like that large scuba guy on the dial:

Two new arrivals.

On the left is a Philly Caribbean 700 (Jenny case), ref 703 case and signed bracelet. Guessing early 60s radium dial, but more info/insights is appreciated!

On the right is a Hamilton Pan Europ 704 on Hamilton mesh, made for only 1-2 years in the early 70s. This one I've been hunting for several months and missed a couple before now. But they didn't have a Hammy bracelet, so it was meant 😁

Congrats, I was quite tempted by the red bezeled Philip Watch and am glad to see it in good hands.👍 There’s a guy on Instagram Peterfox50 who has a huge collection of those, he could probably tell you a lot.

Yeah, I'm going to ping him in a day or two.

That's too funny you also had your eye on it .

I want to be a part of the Vantage club here. So this is mine.

This is the obscure Electric version with the Standard Time Corp. 130E. Basically a Japan-made/modified Hamilton 505 movement.

The wrist-time to price ratio for this one is off the charts. [/QUOTE said:
I like that calculation/expression.

I gave my oldest son a Paul Peugeot diver with a dial having similar attributes to yours, and he has been wearing it all the time for about 4 years now. Wrist-time to price ratio indeed…

Giving my three sons each a different example of a nice running but obscure vintage diver has been a gateway to kindling their interest in watches.
The Paul Peugeot:

This funky Lancia given to my youngest:
