NYC Watchmaker for 1001 service?

My dad's 70s Connie Integrated w/ TV dial turned up in a box of my mom's costume jewelry. I have no idea when/if it was last serviced. SGUS says it's a 1001 caliber and must go to Bienne for "technical diagnosis" and estimate. I'd rather find someone local (NYC area) who has experience with the 1001. Any recommendations?
