I bumped this thread a couple weeks back and have searched the forum for a lead, but haven't had luck. I'm on the hunt for a good watchmaker in NYC. I've had neutral-at-best experiences with the big shops, and I prefer supporting a smaller business anyway. Can anyone recommend an Omega specialist or just a good watchmaker in NYC?

Have you tried the watch shop under Grand Central Station?

I've had good experiences there in terms of getting work done on watches- not specifically Omegas but overall.

I had success with Manhattan Time Service, but that was several years ago.

 

I think @MTROIS recently sent a watch there for service. Perhaps he can comment on the recent experience!
