Same here, never seen any of them in the supermarket.

Choc biscuits don’t do well in the Northern Territory 😉 (Good old SAO and a slice of cheese and tomato out sells everything)

Seen Griffins bikkies at Coles, not a huge range though.
They originated in New Zealand and are probably gaining popularity here as our trans Tasman cousins seek some nostalgia.

MRC MRC
Marmite?
Nah that shit doesn’t get a look in…….it’s all that bloody awful old axle grease made from beer slops, Vegemite here, not that I’d touch Marmite with a barge pole either.
I’m actually allergic to the yeast in Vegemite and the CUB beers it’s a by product from, I didn’t know till I had to repair one of the machines that packs the shit into those little one serve blister packs that they give you in motels, I ended up covered in the filthy stuff from arsehole to breakfast……I wasn’t a well boy!
So you can ad Vegemite to the list of things in Oz that can kill you, bloody stuff had a red hot go at killing me anyway!

Hey doc! Here's a little beauty for you!
.
Hospital staff plead with bite victims to stop bringing snakes to emergency departments
.
Snake bite victims are endangering medical staff by bringing the reptiles with them to hospital, doctors say.

In Queensland's Wide Bay region, doctors have come face to face with some of the world's most venomous snakes captured by patients believing it'll help with identification and treatment.

In one case earlier this month, emergency staff at Bundaberg Hospital, four hours north of Brisbane, were handed a plastic food container with a small eastern brown snake inside peering back at them.

Seen over Sydney last weekend - don't panic, it doesn't want to kill you...

https://youtube.com/shorts/SiFjEwEuG8s?si=SMJ_yAZl5_ekMjcG

Latrodectus ventus (widów spiders) swarms of them travelling on gossamer thin silk that they spin.

Wind in the sky
the spiders fly high
but when the wind stops
better get the phuck inside

(Aussie kids rhyme)

That looks venomous, maybe it's the photo but I can't make out the pronounced brow and venom glands of an Eastern Brown ..maybe it's a very young one??

Maybe it's a picture a lazy copy editor stuck in the article - I don't make this stuff up - I leave that to the journalists...

Doesn't look like an Easter Brown to me either, hasn't got a black head the juveniles have.
Maybe a baby python?
