it is because it is a redial (a repainted dial).
yes i think it has been repainted
the sub dials are not ones you would find on this reference for starters..

Thanks guys, no wonder I cant find another one like it. Would you consider changing the dial to make it "correct"?

Guys, these are a beautiful bunch of watches. I like them better than the Speedmasters.

Of course most people know that, but for some while I viewed early Seamaster 321's simply as potential donors for ailing speedmasters. Several years ago I bought this and put it in the safe for future need. Then I got a call from the workshop to say they were now swimming in 321 parts, and could fix anything. So this meant I no longer need a "reserve" 321 and so I decided to send this in. I dont know too much about these, but I can tell you its back home, fully serviced for an all in cost of £1600, including the purchase, service - and strap!.

That isnt bad for a guaranteed 321, I know that these seamsters get advertised without history for $3000 - 4000+ but I really dont think they sell. I may not be comparing like for like - there seem to be many references carrying the seamaster name and a Speedmaster era 321.

Instructions were to service, clean the case and give a light polish. Keep original hands and dial, do not refurbish them in any way - apart from removing any loose material.

For some reason the dial shows slightly more yellow than in life. I have much to learn about watch photography.

I would love to see others?
Very nice

Have to share my 320 101.009 with BOR.

Absolutely lovely. I'd kill for the three subdials variant of this, but alas they're pretty much impossible to find, at least in decent condition.

Not the biggest of watches 😁

Hi do you mind to share more info about your watch? Because I just found a similar one with no Swiss Made wording, the only thing that stop me from buying was because of this. Could you please share more information so at least it can help me in making decision either to but the similar one that I found or not

2451-2 1953. With a before and after service Movement shot. I need to get some better pictures. It is in secure storage at the moment but it will get some more wrist time at some point. This was my first 321 so a special watch for me.

Fi-nal-ly ! ::psy::

I’ve been hunting for this watch in this condition for about five years now. *phew!* 😲

« Gently used by Navy LDCR Mr. xxx» stated the listing - can’t wait to see what the Extract from Omega Archives will say 🥰

@kyle L you can now remove me from the dibs list 😜

Here's an album of mine, same reference but in steel. All original as far as I know. It could help you in your search.
Don't mind the dirt and grind on it, photos were taken before it was sent to the watchmaker!

EDIT: since you're looking for information I should have added the following:
The case with fat chamfered lugs (CK2907) is really pretty but it is 33mm and comes with a snapback. Later references (CK14364, 315.164, 145.005, 105.005) to my knowledge all come with 35mm cases and screwback casebacks.

If you have a photo of the watch you're looking to buy maybe we can help you determine whether it's original or not.
