NOS 1972 Seamaster Cosmic 2000 - All insight welcome!

I recently came across this NOS 1972 Seamaster Cosmic 2000 and immediately knew I had to have it. The watch was purchased new and held in a security deposit box for its entire life. The original owners son was selling it as part of his father’s estate. He had it opened and the seal replaced at a reputable local watch repair facility right before I acquired the piece.

I do not know much about this reference aside from the fact that it has the cal. 1022 and an integrated bracelet.

Any fun facts or comments are welcomed!

Very 70’s with a novel way of sealing the case together.
I’d say it’s mint rather than NOS though unless you have the tags, papers, boxes etc.

So really it is “used hardly worn” That being said it is a good looking watch in excellent condition.

Even with the tags, papers and boxes it’s still a used watch.

Not sure if it's a fun fact, but this one shares the bracelet and outer casing with the Seamaster f300hz, 198.0044

I have had a few of these. But I couldn't get around that the hands are way too short and don't reach the minute markers

Correct, unworn/mint condition.

Yes, that would be most accurate

Certainly is a fun fact! The hands would irritate me as well

Fully agree, poor choice in language on my part
