With the arrival of the DeVille Prestige back from Nesbit's, the Omega watch box is full. Yes, there's a Lemania in the #10 position, but it's a cousin so still in the family.

I'm comfortable with what I have, a good variety that serves my needs and desires. It's possible I might want something different in the future, but for now, this is it. I have three actual chronometers and the rest of them keep time almost as well as that.

I know some of you are going to say, "You need a Constellation!" No, I don't. :)

Had one for two decades. Traded it for servicing and got the Seamaster I should have bought to begin with.

The other box holds the non-Omega. Stuff I don't wear very often.

I'm guessing you find a diver's watch more useful than a chronograph?

A combination of factors. Big fan of bright lume when I wake up in the middle of the night. No use for an actual chronograph. The only thing going for that chronograph was that it was unique to me.

No constellation really?? How can you say no to the model? Early connie case models, lyre lugs, dog leg lugs etc. I love both constellation and seamaster but honestly a connie dial is more special and detailed. Much higher quality...

I mean why don't you need a constellation. You're not open to it at all? I don't believe it lol have you at least tried a model.

It took me awhile to be able to afford one as they are a couple hundred more than a seamaster. So for me, getting that connie in my profile was a huge moment in watch collecting.

That Seamaster in the lower left has nearly the same dial as a Constellation. The difference in cases doesn't matter too much to me. Getting a 50s movement to keep chronometer specs after all these years? Impossible without Omega's $1500 "we'll restore anything."

Honestly a Constellation would not get me anything I don't already have. See my previous post on that subject. :)

Nice collection, but I have to agree. How can you be a collector of Omega without at least one vintage Constellation!?! I had three (sold my 1964 167.005 which was a bit worn), but still have a 1962 14900 pie pan and a 1966 168.004 dome dial, both mint. I love them both! And as for a 50 year old watch not being able to keep chronometer grade time without major service costs, my 168.004 loses about .6 (that’s point 6) SPD. The 550 and 560 calibers are truly amazing movements.

Simple! I'm not a collector. I just like wearing Omega watches. :)

Nice collection, you’ve made it your own without the traditional speedmaster and Connie.
What’s in the bottom left with date at 6?

Obviously you’re a Seamaster fan - I count 5! And I really like that brickwork bracelet on the watch in the upper left corner.

KO 2627, the very first Omega calendar watch. KO means 14K gold cap on steel. This one is slightly newer, so instead of caliber 353 movement, it has a caliber 355.

2010ish coaxial. That brickwork bracelet originally appeared on a 50s Constellation Grand Luxe in solid gold. This steel version was popular back in the day; Nathan Fillion wore one in Castle.
