My first Breitling, had it for a couple weeks.

Never been huge on the Navitimer, always found it a bit too busy and big - and then I had to go and learn about the Chronomatic 8806. 馃う

I'm also feeling the new brown Superocean 57 model, we'll see if that happens.

So its smaller than an 806?

And welcome to the Navitimer, but not an 806 club!

40mm!

I also think that it's probably one of the more traditionally handsome Chronomatic models - love the racy '70s designs Heuer came up with but this one is a 100% genuine translation from the previous manuals to the then-new automatic chronograph world. Quite like it!

And it is an 806, just an (8)806 馃槣

dibs 馃榿

... and a 769 recently purchased through this beautiful forum:

Ohhh dibs 馃榿

There's some real beauties in this thread. Wish they came up for sale more often! Love these early 1940-50s ones in particular!

January 29, 1998 ... French spationaute L茅opold Eyharts, a Jaguar fighter pilot/Wing Commander in l'Arm茅e de L'Air, flew on his first spaceflight mission during Soyuz TM-27 to the Russian Mir space station... he wore two watches at that time.
But it wasn't until ten years later, during his second spaceflight mission onboard space shuttle Atlantis, that we got a decent look at his yellow dial wristwatch, a Breitling Chronospace with the 1998 CNES P茅gase mission logo on the dial 馃憤
You know what the other wristwatch is... another Swiss chronograph be it manual winding version...

Super cool photo! Thanks for sharing.

The design of the new Breitling line up is beautiful. All they had to do was to follow their own design from the early 70s.

I love my Speedie, but also, as a very different beast, I love my Aerospace.

I also like my homage...

A Poljot 3133 Blue Angels Navitimer.

In my mind, TAG Heuer means motorsport, Omega means spaceflight and Breitling means aerospace.

I am a mere tool of the marketing industry! 馃槈

Breitling dresswatch,
automatic, in 18k Gold.
It鈥檚 a unibody case.
Year I don鈥檛 know.
It鈥檚 a family heirloom.
Love it鈥檚 simplicity.

Hi just got my hands on a Breitling 2110. It's on his way (picture will come later). Got interested into those by first reading TBT articles in Fratello and also found later that the collection of watchfred was just crazy beautiful...

I came on OF to get some info about this 2110 as my googling did not give much more than the 99 project story and the race about the 1st automatic chronograph... And I'm surprised to discover the aren't so many Breitling shown on OF except on this page where I see very nice examples !

@maanu : your collection is just letting me speechless !馃槻馃槻馃槖馃槖
@khanmu : if you ever think about getting rid of your breitling brochure...馃憤

But waouh compared to all the treasures on this forum I am surprised that there are not more.

I would be grateful If anyone could let me know where to find some more info on the numbers of 2110 produced ?
