Any metal as long as the dial is clean and free of patina. Any dial other than silver a plus. Cal 551, nothing older.
Thanks for your time and consideration.

Someone else can correct me, but in terms of dial colour I’m pretty sure you’re limited to silver or black.

There are likely to be some gold and / or gold coloured ones out there.

It would be useful if the OP specified the reference(s) that would be considered.

I would be open to any reference except the hidden crown, 168.004?, and the Japanese Ref. 166.0216., Also not interested in the front loaders: 168.015, 168.025, 167.015 & 167.025.
BTW if the dial is clean, silver is fine.

Those are my preferences, but I would consider anything with a clean dial and sharp case.

I would assume OP wants either a 14900 or a 167.005.

That was why I was asking really.

There have been a number of references on the boards (by new members - not @impalla62ss ) to ‘pie pan’ meaning dogleg pie pan, as though it was the only pie pan, when obviously there are several pie pan references.

Setting aside the later 60s references, I guess the no-date references you should look out for are 2852, 14381, 14900/167.005. (The hidden crown Connies are date only)

Thank you. That will make my search much easier.

Just my opinion, but the hidden crown Connies are among the best vintage watches that Omega has to offer.

Yes, among other things, the crosshair lines are too thick and bold.

And they are incomplete.
Crosshairs are always complete on Constellations

Right. I noticed that as well.
