Painted dial hands? Pie Pan no-date 167.005

Hello all, I’ve been looking to purchase this watch for a little bit now. I’ve noticed on the dial of ones I’ve seen online (and this one specifically), the hour markers are painted black down the middle. This one in particular concerns me because the paint stripe is actually thicker on some of the hour markers. In the pictures, 9 is thicker than 10.

Does this matter all that much from a value perspective? What would you purchase this watch for?

Welcome @Luckyluc

Those are onyx inserts not paint, they are ridged and the discrepancy is the light reflection.

Of more concern is the dial degradation around the 5 and 6 indices.

Note
Late dogleg models do indeed have painted indices, which can degrade.

do you have an example of what this would look like? No worries if not.

I’m probably going to pass on this one because of the degradation at 5/6

Here is an image from an old OF sales thread.

If you look closely at the inner ends of the indices you will see the black is flat and has no depth.
