Hi everyone,

I have the opportunity to buy an Nivada Grenchen aviator sea diver (first series) from a collector around here and i need advices.
My impressions here are :
- Dial is oK
- Case looks ok (maybe a lug is a little twisted...)
- Crown is ok
- Caseback is ok
- Mouvement is a venus 210 and looks ok. The seeler says it works well.
- Bezel seems to be a later one
- Hands - Ok but seems relume? They're supposed to be Radium filled but they are really geen (always saw it with a yellow brown patina...) and not so neat.
- The glass... No idea.

What do you think about the hands and the bezel? Are they original? What can be the price for a such example?

Thanks a lot !

It looks really nice but I don’t know the brand. The bezel is in great shape. You could get the hands professionally resumed to match the warm hour markers. I would wear that!

It's a nice watch. I have owned a later version under another brand. The bezel does seem different to other examples on google. The hands may be relumed, but were most likely done for a reason, the old lume probably fell out. I'm not keen on watches with unstable lume, as the dust can disturb the functioning of the watch. The crystal should be thick diver style.

Thanks for the answers.
I checked on the book and internet, and i'm pretty sure the glass and the bezel aren't original.
For the hands, I have some doubts... Usually, the radium lume is yellow / brown, but I found a similar model sold a few years ago with a similar color. ( https://brusselsvintagewatches.com/produit/croton-nivada-grenchen-chronograph-venus-210/ )

I have no idea about the spare parts for this watch.

So now, I have to decide if it's a good deal or not...
