The brushing angle on the hands is a very nice detail.

they go into an in-depth discussion about the feathering process involved on IG and in the booklet we got as owners. Josh is really doing some amazing work (follow them on LinkedIn too for even more detailed information on their production)

Have many of you ordered from him or done business in the past? Hopefully he has changed as a person... pretty crass with customers and does not like being corrected... I can only imagine if there is a defect in the process that the owner picks up on, and how he would somehow make it the owners fault for a manufacture issue.

Nick can be saucy at times for sure. Honestly, the posts he was involved in on here drove me to look him up and buy watches from him. I have so far purchased the MKII and my seiko Laurel from him. I have a deposit down for the orange MKII but that's actually with collective horology now that Asher is doing the importing for them. I've spoken to them about the NH55 since they entered into the GPHG too

I did try to buy a mondaine automatic from them but they felt the profit margin wasn't there for them so they passed on the deal. No big deal, I got one from a competitor of his for an ever better price.

I read his newsletter every day and yes, he can be crass but he can turn away the business he doesn't want. I can appreciate where he comes from. I'll let you know if I ever have a quality issue.

At roughly $26k for the NH55, I don't think I can do that just now. Fully titanium case, hand built movement using their Timascus methods in addition to the rest of the originally executed pieces. Maybe some day, but I don't have ANY watches in that stratosphere of horological pricing, $5k is still my comfortable top end, though I'm trying to talk myself into something like a Zeitwinkel or Speake-Marin in the next couple of years.
