·One of the cool things about collecting vintage Omega is the ability to get an Extract from the Archives which shows the date of production and to where the watch was delivered. Good details which really stoke one's imagination.
Sometimes Omega doesn't have the records for certain serial number runs (lost or destroyed) but when you hit it it's like a eureka moment.
Here's the Extract for my Seamaster showing that it was produced on June 26, 1962 and delivered to Canada. Someone in Canada bought this when Kennedy was President. How cool is that? I wonder how it made its way to Miami (where I bought it) in such original condition.
