NIB Paul Newman Daytona shows up

I just saw an article on CNN about a guy who bought a Paul Newman Daytona in 1974 for $347. He put it in a safe deposit box and only took it out a few times to inspect it.

He just took it to the Roadshow on PBS and they quoted it as worth $500,000 to $700,000 due to its pristine condition.

Sorry, I took a look down the list and didn't see anything posted recently. I guess I shoulda used search.

But then I thought it might be nice for anyone who can't stand Hodinkee to see it from another source.

Sorry, I took a look down the list and didn't see anything posted recently. I guess I shoulda used search.

But then I thought it might be nice for anyone who can't stand Hodinkee to see it from another source.

Naw, I'm not insulted at all, just embarrassed. I've seen so many multiple threads on WUS (BTW, there were at least three about this on Public) that I try to be careful not to start a discussion that's already been started. Or ask a question that's already been answered several times. Just trying to be a good forum member.
