Well, at least in these neck of the woods. Today, is the only day of the season where everyone is the eternal optimist with hopes of their team achieving the ultimate in the sport. Even as a Redskins fan, yes, the woeful Deadskins, I see an ever small glimmer of hope of finally turning the corner with their new slate of additions. It's of course wishful thinking, but that's the beauty of sports, takes you where your imagination....

It's going to be tough for my beloved Skins against the Eagles today. They're playing without arguably their most talented player in Trent Williams who protects the blind side. And, with a QB whose brand new to the scheme and hasn't really accomplished much in his NFL career. Lastly, they're benching (healthy scratch) their aging all-star running back in Adrian Peterson in favor of an unproven second year RB who sat out all of his rookie season last yr. due to a blown out knee.

The prospects don't look good, but I will be watching and rooting my team on.

HTTR!!

A minor distraction as we move towards the MLB Playoffs and the World Series.
American football sucks and here is a fitting picture of the prince of the NFL - tell me he doesn't look like a total jerkoff

I see your Redskins and raise you my Arizona Cardinals. We are both gonna have long seasons. Las Vegas had the Cardinals at 5 1/2 on wins. I took the under. With the O-line in disarray and Pat Peterson and Robert Alford top two corners out we got problems.

Yankee will always be hatin a Bean Towner QB. The hat is kinda douchy, maybe his wife made him wear it.

Well, my Terps pulled off a pretty sizable upset yesterday in absolutely destroying the Orangemen of Syracuse. I'm hoping to go 2 for 2 this weekend 😁

I’m ready even though my favorite player retired. Sporting my very high end Singapore movement

Typing this, watching TEN-CLE and KC-JAX.

So with Foles with a bad shoulder and Mahomes with a bad ankle and now that TB12 has AB and Gordon, I seriously wonder do I want to pay seeing NE get to another SuperBowl and most likely winning it.

Geesh. I guess it's a good day and year to be a Pats fan (again 😉). Let's see how PIT fares in New England later today

I have also looked forward to this. Mainly a Chiefs fan, so things are looking good even though I kind of miss Alex Smith. I don’t think he will come back from his injury but I do hope he will get into coaching at one point.

Texans looking all right too. I think it will be an exciting year even though the final score is already pretty obvious. Brady will get ring no. 7. Pats will beat Chiefs in AFC and beat Eagles in SB.

Chiefs looked good again, if you want Alex S. I’ll happily undo the trade for Fuller who has become a premier S Safety, the Chiefs won’t be able to resign at the end of this year.

NE doesn’t look like missed a beat from last year.

Week 2 coming up tomorrow!

Also exciting to see Jimmy G in action. I love when teams pay ton of money for relatively untested players 😁 Sure hope they didn’t waste their money. A strong 49’ers squad is always nice to match Seattle. Man I miss the Seattle/SF rivalry

It was good week 1

I watched the KC-JAX game and I have to say I am happy that the man with the mustache played so well.

When Foles got run over JAX fans were like

Although they lost. The 25/27 2TD Performance out of the 6 round pick made them all happy and giddy.

Interesting to see how Minshew fares with the pressure Week 2.
