Hey there, I'm a neophyte when it comes to watches, and even more so with Omegas.
My 82 year old mother gave me this Deville recently, she was convinced it was my father's. Judging by the size of the band, there is no way he ever wore it after the age of 16 or so.

I'm not even sure if its a men's watch or women's but I guess during the period men's watches were a smaller affair?

In any case there are no markings on the back of the case I've only ever seen 1 other photo of a similar square Deville Automatic (is that the full model?) with similar straps but the clasp was not 'striped' like this and the Omega symbol was centered vs offset. Maybe that was a yearly/period variation?

Any help identifying the model, year, an approximate value would be greatly appreciated. If it helps its likely ot was acquired in the 60's/early 70s either in NYC or Paris. I'm thinking it most likely belonged to one of my grandparents.

    Thank you in advance.

Very nicer that you have the bracelet, assuming it fits!

Oh my thank you all for the quick responses and added resources. I do have the bracelet, unfortunately its much too small for my wrist (and I'm no Hulk).

Thank you for the reference sticky, I missed it when went to post. Is there a similar sticky on how to open the case?

What would be the estimated value for this watch?
Good source (s) for restoration parts? The crystal seems pretty scratched up, guess Dad wore this working on cars a bit too many times.

I'm wondering if its a womans model. If OP is no hulk. Average hand size. Based on top to bottom size based on his fingers. Maybe under 30 mm.

Ok, figured out that the case is a snap back, popped it off. Man it needs a cleaning.... at its widest the case is 30mm

Assuming I read the inside of the case back correctly, its 18k white gold?

The Ladies models are described in the catalog as "Ladies' xxx" and generally not included in the scans at that site.

Looks like it. Maybe rhodium plated? Is that yellow gold showing through on the back of the band?

Does the band have its own 18k marking somewhere?

Not that I could find, the band appears to be soldered to the case? At that junction it appears a little bit like rose gold actually, I cant seem to get the camera to capture it. I wonder if sweat over the years, which maybe ddnt get cleaned off well caused that color change.

I suspect that the band is also gold, although you'd have to have it tested to be absolutely sure. That answers your question about value.

Any familiarity with this watch? And does anyone know if there was ever an automatic or wind version of it? I haven't been able to find this watch (face, bracelet, etc.) in automatic :(

And apologies for hijacking thread... but seemed like a reasonable place to post. Will be happy to create own thread if y'all want. Thanks in advance!
