·Dear Forum members,
I have bought this watch from a local vintage watch shop. I am new to Omega watches and vintage watches too. After some research I have the feeling that the dial/hands may be reworked or changed but I am not sure and would appreciate your opinion. This is a 30 T2 SC movement. The serial number (10423721) and movement number (9887229) seem to match and can be dated to around 1944-1946. One thing I find strange is that the numbers have faint lume on them but the hands do not. Can this be possible with Omega as with some other brands sometimes (as I have read in an article)? To what extent do you think this can be original?
Here is the watch: View attachment 891111 : Here is the inside: View attachment 891112

For your consideration and comparison I attach two photos that I have found on the net of similar watches View attachment 891116
