·good article, Eric is a good guy....
So cool ... do the senior members of this forum appreciate the fairly recent rise in awareness of vintage watches, or would you prefer it to remain more of a hidden secret?
I know new members can be annoying looking for appraisals, but does the heightened value of your collections make up for that?

Thank you so much for your kind words! I hope that more people do come to OF to learn and ask for help in a polite and kind way when needed.
You all rock!
Eric Wind
Last year Eric brought a Christies road show of collectible, vintage Speedmasters that he put on display at a local Omega Botique. @flyingout, @Taddyangle, @Modest_Proposal, @repoman and myself had a chance to sit down with Eric over pizza and ice tea during a break in the show to discuss pieces in the collection that he brought, and vintage watch collecting in general. I was by far the least knowledgeable person at the table but Eric's approachability and enthusiasm allowed even me to feel I was part of the conversation. The NYT picked the right guy for this article.
We should do this again sometime soon guys!
I agree!
A nice bump for the forum.
I guess this means we should expect more new members coming in and posting random watches and asking if they are real! I know a lizard and a Longhorn fan that will be pleased with that. Time to sharpen the pitchforks guys!
I heard that "omega speedmaster" is the most searched term on Google and Twitter!
