I was just looking at Omega's US sales web site, and it appears that their approach for selling this watch may have changed. In the past, there was usually a bit of text that said something to the effect of 'available exclusively at Omega's New York City boutique'. This is not the case now. That text isn't there anymore and there is a push-button that says "CONTACT A BOUTIQUE ABOUT THIS PIECE". The New York City Seamaster, and the "Boutique Edition" Seamaster are now grouped together on a page for "Boutique Edition" watches, of which there are now only two: a red-dial Boutique Edition, and the New York City watch. Bottom line is, you may be able to order the New York City watch through any Boutique...or as @Meme-Dweller says, find one on the pre-owned market.
