I saw that Omega is going to have an exhibit in NYC in November. I'm local so I will definitely be going during one of the weekends. I'm sharing this news in case anyone else is local and wants to attend. I didn't see any mention of tickets so I'm assuming it's free.

Below is the article from WatchPro.

There's going to be some really cool watches on display. The 2998 looks really good. I'll be sharing pictures after I attend.

Here are some photos from WatchPro.

I’ll actually be in NYC that week. I’ll probably hit this up on Thursday evening 11/16 if anyone else wants to join me and perhaps do a mini-GTG afterwards?

I was actually considering going up for the JLC 1931 Cafe Reverso exhibition, and now that I could check this out the same day. I think it sealed the deal.

I will be in NYC next weekend for JLC Reverso exhibition & workshop, now eager to see this one, as I am coming all the way from Poland 😉
Can't find anything about admission though - do I need some tickets? reservetions? Or is it just walk-in-free show?
Thanx for advice.

I went to sign up for later today and it's only offering tickets for tomorrow. Is reservation essential or can you just rock up and hope to get in?

Pretty sure you can just show up. It wasn't crowded at all.

Thanks for the advice - we did just turn up and registered on the door. They were preparing for some kind of event on Monday evening so might have stopped people walking in off the street.

One funny thing; the "goodie bag" (a canvas tote bag containing a poster tube) had a QC problem... when we got outside, I opened the tube and there was nothing in it. The two guys immediately behind me had the same... so we went back in to see if there were some that were intact, and was given a tube with poster inside. It's just a poster of the event, like ...

I thought it was interesting, certainly worth a diversion if you're in the area. Would I go a long way out of my way to see it? Hmmm.

They just canceled my appointment out of the blue saying they're closing early tonight. That was really the only decent window I had so I guess I'm skipping it :/

Too bad - small exhibit but worth the visit. A couple of pics I grabbed there. Also my 2998 with a much more famous one.

Dang, I was NYC for work over the weekend but ran out of time to see the show 😬. It looks like it was a lot of fun.
