While its not my kinda watch I really do like the look! I love the blue and how it plays off the gray
The blue is very striking. I am surprised that they have released another version of it. The others did not sell very well.
LOL I kinda like the crown, Id much rather it have no date and keep the crown. Luckily they didn't use a white background on the date so its not too annoying or distracting.
Now...that is one beautiful watch! Hmmm...risk COVID to fly out to UAE.....! haha! As always @AntonisCy, thanks for sharing!
I admit that I find it a striking watch... I like the back as well, reminds of some good years spent in the UAE.
I've always liked these, though there are easily a half-dozen other Omegas I'd prefer to own before I got one of 'em.
I love the case shape and the colourways of these watches, but the length of the hands has been something I just haven't been able to unsee whenever one of these pieces comes up.
I'm in the relative minority as quite liking most of the City Editions. I'd hoped to pick up a London earlier in the year (even went so far as to make sure the boutique I usually go to had one), but then Covid...if/when I do get one, it'll almost certainly be on the secondary market.
based on watchbase.com two other city editions are coming. Hong Kong and Macau https://watchbase.com/omega/seamaster/511-13-40-20-11-001 https://watchbase.com/omega/seamaster/511-13-40-20-10-001
I'm pretty much sold on a NYC edition (I live there and love the dial), but the latest IWC in red has rekindled my interest in obtaining a red dial watch. That Hong Kong edition sounds like it could fill both, hopefully a pic pops up soon.
The skyline engravings on the casebacks is the best thing about these watches. I think the blue dial of the London edition is the most attractive. Be interesting to so how far they go with this line
Not that I would wear a red dial but I am looking forward to seeing what the Hong Kong edition looks like. My favorites are still the Singapore and London editions.
