A quick wander around the web seems to indicate that these are fairly rare beasts. Best source I've come across is the well known Japanese seller eLady at around the $1k mark.

+1 for elady. Great to work with and great customer service. Bought my Speedmaster from them at an extremely reasonable price.

What about Tudor BB 36? That is one good looking watch with a hint of diver.
I thought about the Bb36 and showed her the Explorer I. She said it wasn't sporty enough

A bit off-beat, but how about a Tissot Seastar Diver? Just like @OmegaBear sold recently:

The dials are lovely and the lume plots often turn out fantastic. Ridiculously cheap as well, though I realise that probably isn't a major deciding factor 馃榾
