just got it, but have to sell it. since my grand plan of getting a wonderful AT for a great price fell thru due to a torpedoed ebay sale the other week (some of you may have read the sad saga on the 'open discussion' subforum), i've just decided to instead reactivate my long-dormant 'watchco' project as a worthy consolation. either way, it all needs $$ and my rule always is, sell a watch to fund a watch (buy/project). especially since the baby was born. so, here it is...i had it inspected by my trusty watchmaker who gave it full thumbs up, inside and out. he said the movement particularly looked in good shape. i wore it for almost a week, and it kept great time too (less than 30secs!). Asking US $300 OBRO paypal or cash in person. shipping free within US, can work it out for outside US. since i'm new selling here, i'm fine with a 3-day inspection/return period. is that fair? my wife, mrs OB, and i have bought/sold watches and coins, and bunch of other stuff, on ebay for years and i believe we have established a good feedback base there. in fact, the watch is as we speak listed on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/122002388657Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network yes, it's a relist. yes, i got shafted again by a bad bidder (this time a brand-new acct with already a non-paying bid under its belt from hong kong). yes, i've been very mad at ebay lately. OF peeps, of course, will get first consideration always. will drop the ebay listing in a second with OF buyer in hand. (i believe i'm allowed to post a link to it per my understanding of the forum private sales rules. plus, folks can also see our profile and sales feedback etc on ebay) the watch is very nice. i have it now on a mesh stainless strap (my current prohibitive favorite for watchwear) and i must say it looks damn good! like a real diver watch should be! case 36mm without crown, lugs 19mm. tissot auto mov't 786-2, looks/works great. green dial is amazing-changes sheen under different light angles/conditions-my poor picture-taking skills can't do it justice. questions/offers/comments/feedback as always more than welcome! if i did/am doing anything wrong, be gentle as this is my first time selling here.
Final bump. Come say hi to him on the bay, about 5hrs left. EDIT: sold on the bay. winning bidder instapaid. hope they enjoy!
