Hello fellow members,
Even though I said no more watches this year, the collection got a new member. :whipped:

The case is very unusual and does not look like the typical horn lug case that can be seen on Seamasters. After searching online and with help of few members, I’m pretty sure its gold plated ref. 2712-3 made for French market. Between lugs is mark 80 (microns) & PB (Paul Bovier - casemaker). Movement inside should be cal. 266. My WM is away for holidays, case can’t be opened to confirm but will do that as soon as possible.

The lightly patinated dial has small smudges but this is not visible when worn. Print on dial is crisp with thin arrowhead markers and subdial at 6. Hands seem to be correct.

Crown is modern replacement so now I’m looking for period correct one. Any advice is welcome from you guys. 😁

Hope you like!

Stay safe and Merry Christmas to you all!

Tom

@Zapatta Nice one! As asked, here are a few pictures of its bigger brother 2713, as posted in the Jumbo thread:

Same case maker as yours. And here’s another dirty shot, right between those beautiful lugs:

But I’m sure there are other users who have more examples of those refs. 😀

That waffle dial looks amazing 🥰

Luckily, both of our pieces have dials in great condition comparing to few pieces found on internet. Mine is huuuge compared to my 2943 but 38mm? Bet it fits amazing on a wrist. Do you have a wristshot photo, maybe?

Playing with chocolate 😁

Still waiting for a delivery with a 20mm strap - I was so used to 18-19mm that I didn’t even consider the lug width. Happy to update next week. 😀

I'm thinking about pairing it with light grey suade strap. Whats your choice?

I was thinking light brown shell cordovan, but knowing myself, this isn't gonna be the only strap I'll get for it...

Here is side by side comparison. Right one looks huge next to Constellation and difference is only 0.5mm in diameter.
