Hope everybody is coping with the current situation as best they can,
I purchased this watch and cannot find any information about it ... just would be interested to know

I would bet you can find that same watch from street vendors around the globe with various manufacturer's names printed on the face and engraved on the rotor. If you can get a refund I would recommend it.

It is good idea to buy watches only after having studied the specific type ... nowadays there are so many online resources and forums (fora) thta to learn is quite easy , investing some time.

It was an auction purchase for only a small cost, I look forward to learning from you guys!!

Had a lucky start a while ago with a couple of Rolex that were genuine.

This is a great attitude to take. Also, why not keep that one and use it for tinkering after you learn a bit more about watches? You could get a screwdriver set and remove the back (unless it's a snapback with fake screw heads, which I've seen) and practice removing the crown, removing the movement, and eventually disassembling to see how a mechanical watch functions.
Or smash it with a hammer so it never fools another buyer again. Both are good options.
