Added this one to the stables about a month and a half ago.

it’s gotten so much love and my first straight lugs reference.

not sure if it’s a keeper yet but the Rene bezel on it is really nice and the dial and hands patina are just up my alley.

trying to decide if I should perhaps replace the crystal for the little damage at 12 and a slight crackling on the sidewall and maybe have the case refinished along with the bracelet or just leave it as is.

I mean more towards just wearing it as is and enjoying it.

Not sure if it’s a keeper he says.

Those Rolexes are prettttttttty similar.

Great Omega you have there, wouldn’t touch a thing. Has to be the tooliest SM300 reference and probably my personal favorite. Reckon it’ll grow on you.

I guess you could say I have a type 😉

They all do look kinda like the same era dive watches.

the 5513 is a friends so just the Sea Dweller and this one sm300.

Thanks for the advice. I think I’ll just enjoy it as is. I’d rather save those farthings for another new toy next time.

it sure has grown on me, especially the lugs. Still, on the want list is a “newer” big T with those nice twisted lugs.
