New to me Omega X-33 Gen2 - halflinks?

New present for myself, a Gen2 X33. I like it much more than I thought I would, given all my other Omega's are mechanical.

But that bracelet... only 2 micro adjustment positions and it does not come with a half link. The micro adjustments are only 1/3 link wide, so there is a 2/3 chance the watch will fit too loose or too tight. Right now, I have it too loose so I can actually wear it without strangling my hand.

Some websites claim the fix is Omega part number 115ti1610, which I think is off a titanium seamaster, but supposedly is what AD's used to use to fix this issue back when the 1998 bracelet was still in production.

anyone know if this is still available? Did it work for you?

I dont have any info for you about the half link, but thats a really nice X33! such a cool and unique Speedmaster! I have never seen one in person.

Supposedly they were very popular in Japan, which is where this one came from. Less so everywhere else outside of pilot circles.

The 1/2 link you mention is still available from Omega. I don't think I've ever installed the Ti version, but I installed many of the steel versions on the 1998 bracelets for Speedmasters, and they worked without issue to provide the half link. I even gave this information to the head of customer service for Omega here after he complained to me that his Speedmaster bracelet didn't fit properly...

Thanks 😀 My watchmaker has an omega account, but advised there are no returns on this part, so I wanted to be sure.
