I have been waiting for a delivery from UPS for a very rare Omega with Pontife hands. It was due to arrive on the 23rd December from Italy (to UK) and never arrived.

Almost 2 weeks later no update to tracking apparently it arrived in UK on the 24th and since then nothing.

Countless phone calls to UPS have led to no solutions. I hope that this isn’t another “lost” or “undeliverable” item situation. It’s quite concerning 🙁
I feel for you - let's hope it's just delayed.

And curiously not a word of mention of restricted working arrangements due to covid-19 precautions?
Yes. That will be the cause of it all ...

This is all due to Covid.
No doubt EU countries were worried about their lorry drivers returning with the new “strain”..
Isn’t that why they were all stuck there in Dover waiting to get back to France (and onwards) for Xmas needing some some sort of “permit”?
It’s got nothing to do with Brexit
Like I keep saying (from an impartial outsiders point of view looking at the whole Brexit thing) why would Britain want to delay selling goods and services to the EU?
Post Brexit this is exactly what they want.
But I agree - it’s pretty poor that Pitney Bowes implies Brexit as the cause rather than naming Covid - and as someone pointed out Covid related work practice. But worse they can’t even be bothered to wait it out, track the goods back and then find some other way to complete the delivery.

What ever happened to “returned delivery” and simply returning the goods to the buyer?
