Hi Omega Forums! I've been referencing these pages for a couple weeks and figured it was time to introduce myself. I'm a long time enthusiast of timepieces and recently picked up my first vintage Omega Seamaster Cosmic (see picture below). I was able to source a bracelet (1098/526) for pretty cheap but I was wondering about end link wiggle and if this could be negated by a larger spring bar. If you're familiar with the bracelet, the last middle link hooks through and the spring bar keeps it in place. Since there are no stabilizer tabs on the 526 I was thinking that a 2.5mm Seiko spring bar may fit the bill. Any thoughts?

Nice watch, I like these underrated models but people are catching on now.

You're stepping on @nonuffinkbloke's toes with that username.....

You could perhaps have your watchmaker tighten the loops in the endlinks if these have them. But if the larger bar fits, and you have them, costs nothing to try!

Nah Ed... It's heart warming to know that I'm not alone. Others are proud to modestly proclaim that they know 'fakk all' about watches!::shy::

    P.S. It's a lovely looking watch.:)
