Movado Zenith caliber 3019 PHC New to me, with a problem

Hi All,
this arrived today and I was so happy to be able to find and buy this watch. the seller sent me videos of the reset and running, which was all correct, although I do not know how old those videos were.
On receiving it today, the chrono sticks each time between 25 and 33 seconds which appears to halt the watch as well. It restarts after pressing the 2 oclock pusher twice, but then the chrono gets stuck on the next round.

All else appears to function correctly and the hand does reset to 12 o'clock. I have 2 days to return it. Some advise would be appreciated.

Besides the chronograph issue, have you checked how well it keeps time throughout the day, to see whether it loses accuracy or not?

This is a delicate movement, and it needs to be handled by a watchmaker who knows it well. Do you have access to someone with that kind of expertise?

That’s really the only advice I can give you. These are wonderful watches, but they need to be properly serviced to be enjoyable to own. Otherwise, you risk spending money unnecessarily and never ending up with a watch that runs properly.

yess otherwise the watch is good, here is the time graph. There is a shop here, les gardiens du temps, who have seen the watch and say they can service it, but I dont have any experience with them, but I think I might let them do the work and see as they have very good write-ups online, for what ever that is worth...
