description
GENTS OMEGA CASE NUMBER 1685004 CALIBER 561 MOVEMENT 24501621
RARE 18ct GOLD MARKED CROWN FOR 18ct AND LEOPARD FOR LONDON AND n for 1968.

Superb looking watch in near mint condition, one tiny ding to case side..Its Large at approx 36mm case size, and its heavy gold and Lovely condition.

The Constellation logo on the case back is superb quality with lovely definition of the 8 stars, this is a collectors piece.........You can see that it is lacking the minute and seconds hand, these are not with the watch ,this is for the buyer to sort , it is however in good working order, with a few winds and a gentle shake its running well, but untested..The crown shows wear, the glass shows scratches.

This is not a cheap watch, its a rare quality piece , so please see all photos and ask any questions before considering buying.

I'd be very pleased if this were the new style, because it's so obvious from miles off.

As a newbie this is why I'm focusing on above average condition of more common watches. I just picked a very nice 18k gold 1964 century to wear, I'm counting on nobody bothering to fake that.

Looks like a 1960s UK production Constellation and not a fake to me. Here are some similar versions also with 7 digit references.

Thanks. I was wondering. I had vaguely recalled seeing these large observatory case backs, but hadn't had a chance to research them yet - had two kids parties to go to today!

I did post not that long ago about 'numbered' Connies -there were some in the last Knightsbridge auction -but I think you would have to have 'specialist tastes' to want to buy this one -it's a dog of a watch no matter what the gold content is....
