Just picked up my new (to me) Speedy Triple Date. Yeah, I know it hasn't been set to the correct time or date, but it's too close to noon here and I'll set it up later. As you can see, the watch is in remarkable shape with just slight hairline scratches that will buff right out with some Mothers mag polish.
Big question: I've located an original new 18mm Planet Ocean Alligator band with the curved lugs (pics included) and was wondering if it'll fit? It's expensive of course, but worth it if it'll fit.
Can anybody attest to it fitting from first hand knowledge?
    Thanks for any feedback.

I'm not sure at all but it wouldn't surprise me if the buckle on a planet ocean is wider than the triple date deployant clasp. So even if the bit between the lugs did fit you might not be able to use the original deployant clasp.

I assume yours has a deployant clasp? I have the exact same watch and mine has and it's quite narrow.

No, that's the nice part. Mine doesn't have a deployment buckle at all right now so I'll be buying that to match the strap if it fits my watch.
