Great pics............ leaning heavily towards white now.

PS: Butik. In Afrikaans (South Africa), we have boetiek, which is boutique in English. So all these languages come from one.

Now not at all sure about the colour after both on my wrist.

.

Trying on the grey with the blue strap would afford you a better appreciation of the dial IMO. Same would likely be true for the white on black I'd imagine.

Esperanto? 馃う
I was only a child going to primary school when we were told this was going to be the new world language. I am 63 now, and not a word since.
Back to the watches. If you like the white dial version then strap options are easy as near every color goes good with white. Unfortunately white does not do it for me, I've tried a couple of watches and ended up selling.
Silver dials are good but I don't know about pairing it with a blue bezel and strap, black may have been a better combination.
Anyway, I am happy with my 2254.50. I like looking at the new releases and hear opinions about them but nothing new has appeared yet to get me away from the large sword hands of the Peter Blake.

I like them all but like you, I already have a 2254.50 that I have no plans to part with. My favorite combo posted here has to be the white dial with the white leather racing strap. It looks awesome!

To the OP - congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the club.

Hehe, I live probably 500 metres from the place where Mr Ludwik Zamenhof - creator of Esperanto - lived & constructed the language 馃榾. The street now is named after him.

Not at all.
I generally swap a couple of times a week, rubber for work during the week, ss for the weekend (sir!).
Just use a standard spring bar tool.

Do you recommend one spring bar tool over another? I'm looking to pick one up.

Thanks...

Hehe, where do I sound Swedish? Just curious 馃槈 But no, I am just fellow Baltic from the south part of the sea 馃槈

Going back to topic, to prove what I wrote two posts before, here some of my "whitey" pics with not so common straps (everyone knows how it looks on factory bracelet and black rubber).
Which strap is the top one? Cordura?

Just want to say I just purchased my first Omega with the grey SMP and it is amazing. Completely in love with the watch. Only question - where can I buy the OEM blue rubber strap? Haven't been able to locate it on Omega's website.

I ordered mine through an Omega Boutique. I don鈥檛 have one in my city so I reached out by phone and they shipped it to me. Total with buckle was $300 plus tax, I had it in two days. Well worth the money, top quality!

Hello, Butik. Who manufactures the black nylon/white stitching strap shown in your pictures? Very sharp!

This is original OMEGA strap made for Speedmaster Snoopy 2, so you can buy it easily at any Omega Boutique or order at any Omega AD. Please remember, that it's made for Omega deployant clasp, so if you do not have any you will have to buy it separately (also at Omega boutique or AD).

Many thanks, Butik, for your quick reply. I have the black dial/rubber version and will seek this black nylon at an AD/Boutique. Does the black nylon wear as comfortably as the rubber?

Oh yeah, wears perfectly fine. And the deployant clasp is a big step ahead, especially in comparison with pain-in-the-arse pin-buckle of SMP rubber.
