I was in Leeds today for an Academic Meeting, afterwards ambled over to the Omega Boutique, chatted with their Manager, & tried an SM300 on......

It is an absolutely beautiful watch, .....far, far more attractive in the flesh, than in the photography

The bracelet is bit 'bling'.........Super shiny....almost 'Breitling'ish'...but the actual watch is a stunner !

Also tried on two 'Bull heads' ......the Black version, & the White.........subtle, they ain't.............The attraction eludes me.

I loved the watch on pics and went to the NYC boutique card in hand... But I didn't like it in person. I think the dial markings are not well proportioned and the watch itself seems unbalanced to me. And I really wanted it. I like my smp and po better. Tried on the aqua terra blue face though and almost walked out with that. Same movement, amazing watch and does not compete with my other Onegas. But I think I can get one for a bit less than 6g plus tax so I'm back home with nothing.

Yeah, now even on pics those 5 minute markers are off. Too long creating a starfish effect that sucks the dial inwards to my eye. If they where shorter maybe it would open up the face a little. I mean it's almost 42 mm it should look it!

Congrats, it sure is a beauty. I've seen it at the boutique myself. Very impressive in person. Enjoy.

just wondering - does this reissue come with a special box or just the plain bog standard red one?
