I walked into the Omega Boutique in San Diego yesterday to ask when the new SM300 would arrive and they said "Oh you mean this?" That is the one I said! They got both of these in 15 minutes before I arrived. It is cooler in person than it is in the photos, I couldn't resist picking up the Stainless Steel/Black although the gold one was nicer in person than I thought it would be. The vintage lume is also more subdued than it looks in the advertisements which I think is nice. A few wrist shots....
No they don't, just the dot. Now I need to plan a dive trip and check its water resistance and luminosity under water.
WOW! Congrats on your timing and super pickup; its not just about being in the right place at the right time, you also have to pull the trigger! I'm already jealous. Edit: too early to call dibs?
There are pages of new images and information on the Omega site now. http://www.omegawatches.com/collect...300/presentation/seamaster-300-master-coaxial http://www.omegawatches.com/collection/seamaster/seamaster-300/catalogue
Wow amazing. I was thinking about driving down there today to look at watches. We need to do a San Diego get together soon.
Hi speedyfan, Congratulations on a great pick up that really does look stunning and the polished centre links on the bracelet look much better in your pictures then I have seen previously enjoy it and wear it in good health. @all Also I'm really happy to see these are now arriving at Omega Boutiques and are not delayed until February as I was last told the last time I asked now its time for me to go to my local Omega Boutique here in London and find out when they are getting theirs in especially as I'm meant to be no:1 on the wait list. I was being tempted by a vintage Zenith Rainbow Fly-Back but I do think I prefer this diver to a chrono. Marc
Congrats! I'm not quite in love with newer models yet, might take time for them to appeal to me. Finish looks nice, would also prefer one with the date. Enjoy!
