Maybe they thought that with the price of Speedmasters going up, they needed something new in that $4,000 range?

I always prefer a non date dial. Looks to be a mix of the ceramic variant & Nekton variant. Would be nice to have a NTTD/ 007 full vintage model, no waves, no bond or MOD markings.

Must be the only one who cannot stand lumed bezels, IMHO makes the watch look cheap. Oh well be interesting to see this next year and future references.

Loved the original waves on the prior smp but these waves are so big and obtrusive I just can't get into them. I keep waiting for a plain dial. Would look so clean and nice

Actually, the more I look at it the more I like it. I like he off white color of the bezel, or is it just a function of the photo?

You need to have an account on the Omega website and login. Under the "My Watches" section on your profile, you can type in that reference # and it will pull up as a product to add to your "My Watches" collection.
Thanks, I'll give this a try!

Edit: Success, thanks! I can certainly add this to the other thread about what I'm buying next year...

How low though? 007 has an aluminum bezel. This is ceramic.

The standard Seamaster 300M lineup has a ceramic dial and ceramic bezel. This one is the same as those, just no-date and a different colorway.

I'd imagine this will either be a limited variant carrying a ~ $500 higher price tag, or a standard model with the same or slightly higher price.

Looks like the raised waves in the ceramic and the two-tone...obviously different bezel. I think "no date" looks the best. Here is another version of it 😀

No fair...my wife is going to go nuts - in the last week alone my must have list has grown to include the new Speedy Moonwatch Pro, this new SeaMaster, and I also really want one of the Tokyo 2020 watches...

Why are the scripts muted out in that photo?

Yes the wooden box has been the standard since 2015. I know it puts most other boxes to shame.

Does the 88xx based movement mean it doesn’t have the jumping hour hand?

I've not really been a fan of the 300M's, I didn't think they would work for me and was only drawn to the 'heritage' Seamaster 300 or the latest 007 edition however I'm quite liking this one.

My priority in the new year is the Silver Snoopy but a diver's itch remains... I was thinking of going down Rolex Sub route however this could be an interesting option.

Looking forward to seeing this go live, price etc.

Same as the new Bond. I agree, it could be fully brushed. This is going to be a budget Bond watch/ Bond in stainless steel.

I'm definitely in on this one (depending on the price). Beautiful.
