Hey,

Just picked this up off the bay. I know the crown is a replacement, but I also think it could be a redial - if anyone can tell from the photo that would be ace! It’s hard to find loads of detail about these watches online but I can say the 321 is keeping excellent time so far!

The person I bought it off has also offered a gold plated bracelet ref 1503 with end links 70. They’re asking £300 which I thought seemed steep - I get that it all depends on condition but do you think that sounds fair? I’ve attached some poorly lit photos of the bracelet.

If you could post dial shots where the dial can be seen bigger with more clarity and no reflections of the sun obscuring the font that would be ace…

I don’t have a good enough camera with me but here are some from the original listing if that helps.

While no expert, I would say 'kosher'. Arrow fletching and numerals/fonts look good to my eye. There also appears to be some radial drag marks on the hour sub-register which indicates some years of a misaligned hand having contact with the dial (maybe due to chrono creep?)...if it were a redial, I would not expect to see that either.

Certainly if I am wrong in anyway (always a possibility) someone will chime in ...

Looks like a nice piece. WIGH.

See high-res pics of a 105.005 here

As regards the watch above, fletching does look ok-ish, but the OMEGA font bothers me, as does the lume. So definitely need better pics. I'm not 100% sure if the GP version has slightly different fonts. And the subdials also need a closer look, specifically the edge and the marker lengths.

Thanks for your comments. Here are some more photos I took this morning. I can’t see the omega logo on the crystal so I guess that’s been replaced along with the crown. I’m wondering if the lume has been removed from some of the dial markers? Hard to see but I can’t detect it on all of them. Need to get the black light on it when I’m home and see if that tells me.

I did notice that the main dial doesn’t have radial lines but vertical lines… almost linen like but not quite. I guess that was normal for these watches as well to have different dial patterns?

Thanks bud! I'm really pleased with it actually. I feel like I got very lucky with eBay UK!

Original seller confirmed that the crystal and crown are the only known replacements. The wear of the gold plating on the tips of the lugs is a shame but not surprising for a watch of this age - also the steel underneath has a nice patina to it, so it's actually a lot less noticeable in real life than the photos.

I'm waiting on delivery of that bracelet now too (managed to knock seller down to £240 inc delivery), so I'll send more photos of it on bracelet when it arrives!

Beautiful watch. And a wise move to get the bracelet, imho.

Sorry but what is a kosher dial?
Not refinished.

Or you can eat it without getting problems...

It's just a phrase that means the dial is looking good.
